Looking for a cascading select where the values are populated from a database

I'm using the database-values-plugin (org.deblauwe.jira.plugin.database-values-plugin) for select lists in my implementation. I need a cascading select list where the child select is populated from a database.

The last time I looked at Wim's database plugin, it definitely supported cascading select lists.
