Hello,
We are using Jira Server and we had the electricity go off a couple days ago. We tried to get back onto our Jira application and it did not allow us to get back on.
Why did it uninstall from our server?
this doesn't make sense. you seem to be saying that a loss of power has resulted in the application no longer existing on the server. are you sure about that? Do you represent IT and have verified that the files no longer exist? It could be that the HDD took a sever hit but a loss of power doesn't generally do that except in some areas of the world where the power is extremely poor and can result in spikes. Regardless, hopefully you have backups of your data so that you can reinstall the application if needed and restore from backup. Ultimately I don't see this as an application issue but more of a power/IT issue to resolve.
I am the IT person for my company.
I followed the directions to the T on the website. I have copied the file from a flash drive to the server, extracted it, and installed it. Our server is offline and needs to stay that way.
I have reinstalled Jira several times and lost all the data that we had on there. I had to recreate my users. Then I restarted the server to see if it stuck (if the electricity went out), it did not. Also I’ve set the home directory to a place that was not the flash drive. I also permanently mounted the flash drive to the server so that if the data is saving, it would be on the flash drive. No dice.
It will not connect using the ports that I have assigned them and if it did, it doesn’t stick. I am using Linux to do this.
Thank you.

Hi Kris, I don't think I will be able to assist w/ this further as it is beyond my experience and don't have access to your system. I would suggest contacting Atlassian Support
