I would like to create a mail handler so i can route emails that need to be logged as tickets. The place i work at does not use POP or IMAP servers. They use MAPI. I know from checking with Atlassian they do not support that, is there any work around or other options i can use ?
The only "workaround" is "use a supportable protocol" - POP or IMAP (or, better, their secured versions)
Exchange servers annoyingly make you jump through hoops to enable the decent open protocols now, so you could ask for your admins to do that, but the other option is to get a simple "forward email" set on the Exchange server that just throws everything on to a server somewhere that does support one of the protocols.
