Hi,I am facing below 2 problems. The below 2 are very urgent.
1. I have made the JIRA up in my localhost and providing my ip to work for other project team members. When the ip changes to other system, they are unable to use the jira. eg. my ip is from 10.146.76.XX but the people from other host 10.146.74.XX could not work.
2. I have to make some of our onsite members who are in Japan also to work in the JIRA defect workflow. How to make this enable.
Regards
Shree
Aren't you using a static ip?
And the first question may be something related to the network issues or the company policy, they need to connect to the company network in order to work with the jira.
Are you people using VPN as such in order to connect to the server outside the company network?
Making people to work outside the network is creating some tunnel for them to access.
You need to make your ip basically accessible for them in the sense creating a tunnel. And allowing them to connect and work.
This is most likely to be taken care by the network people providing the access.
What we can do is we can configure a proxy either using apache or nginx. If they are trying to communicate by some address, internally we can route them to our address where Jira is running.
Its just my thoughts i dunno whether i am right at this?
