I have created a form in Jira Workflow Management and I want to capture a 'required' people field when someone creates an issue. I.e. the reporter is filling in the issue request, but I want to capture the Account Manager name in a separate field. When I make this 'required', my form no longer works - it says unsupported required fields. Any fixes for this?

You can workaround this by using a Text field, where users can type in the name.
Thanks for your answer, I had a text field originally, however I have automation where I want a notification to @mention someone so it wont work here..
