I've created a Plan with the Epics in my project and dependencies to epics to other project are shown as a symbol (see picture). But how can I make the epics from other projects visible in the plan?

Hi there,

We do this in our instance using Scriptrunner. This is a paid add-on so may not be available to you. You can reference linkedissues with that product.

The other option is to make sure these tickets are also children of the level above Epics and pull in all the tickets across the target projects checking with JQL for the dependency link type you are using.

Using just JQL I do not think JQL can do this for you because you are probably looking for "referential" linking... so given group of Epics, what are the tickets with link type "a" outside of this group. JQL doesn't have this type of targeting and you will likely have to augment with a label or some other data point.
