Make sub-task issuetype default for any issue in jira server version 8.5.1

I want to make sub-task as a default issue type whenever a sub-task is created for any issue.

I read a few articles which said that rearranging the issue types will make sub-ask appear in the first place did not work for me.

Can anyone help here?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community. 

It is currently not possible to set the default subtask type in Jira out of the box.
