Making Custom Field Uneditable in JIRA 5.1.6

Hello,

We have a feature in JIRA 5.1.6 where it allows inline editing of the custom fields on the view screen. But I want to make one custom field uneditable in the view screen.

Please help me in this regard.

Remove the field from the Edit screen.

If you don't want to edit the field altogether, you can just remove the field from Edit Issue Screen.

Hi,

I have found that in General Configuration, we can altogether disable the Inline Edit mode.

But I want to find whether we can disable inline edit of a specific custom field.
