Making a field in a screen mask mandatory

Magnus Schlüns November 10, 2022

Hello everyone,

is there any possibility to make a field mandatory in a screen mask?

I've got a custom field added to issues including checkboxes. This boxes shouldn't be mandatory in the issue itself but need to be cheked in a screen mask to confirm an action. Is there any possibility to let the user not confirm the screen mask without marking the boxes as checked?

Thanks for helping

Magnus

Hey Magnus, as this seems to be about editing a field in certain screen only (which is usually linked with transitioning issue) this article will help you, I think :)

Hey Marta, the article describes how to allow users to change only certain fields. In my case the user would be allowed to change everything he wants but he definitely has to check the boxes.

If the boxes are not selected, the mask should not be sent.

So unfortunately the article didn't qoute help me but thanks for the effort :)
