I am importing MS Project plans into our Jira instance, and some of my subtasks are completed, I want to make them children of completed tasks so that everything is organized when presenting to leadership. I know that this can be completed within the Advanced Roadmaps, and I did this with everything that is still not complete. However when I try to look within ARM it does not show issues with a done status even when I filter for them. I am assuming because they are complete and do not need to be "Planned". Anyway is there a different way? I do not want to make them a "relates to" link, I want them to have a true Parent/Child relationship.
To piggyback on John's comment, the default for a Plan is to keep issues for 30 days from their resolved date, after which they will be removed from the Plan.
To modify this, click on the cog in the Plan and select Configure. From there, click on the 'Exclusion Rules' section to modify how long resolved issues stay in the plan.
However, I can't tell from your post if this is what you're asking. Are you asking why these issues don't show up in your plan, or are you asking how to get your imported sub-tasks to be children of existing tasks?
I was asking how to get the completed subtasks to be children of completed tasks, so adjusting the exclusion days will fix my issue. Thank you!

Hi Anthony,
Go into the Plan Settings and adjust the amount of days that it keeps the Done statues.
