Hi everyone, I am wondering which is the best way to manage different projects using the same Jira project. For reasons too long to explain here I cannot simply create a new project every time. I was thinking to use the Epic as each project container and then assign tasks and sub tasks to each of the epics but before messing everything up I would like to have some advice from the community. Also because with this approach, if the Epic is the project, I'm not sure how to represent the projects phases.
At the end of the day my unique Jira project should contain all projects belonging to one single Program. Every Project has Phases and each phase has tasks.
Hi @Mauro Gobbi ,
You may consider using components. Components are subsections of a project. They are used to group issues within a project into smaller parts. You can set a default assignee for a component. This will override the project's default assignee, for issues in that component.

You create multiple components and associate them with your issues.
