Looking to re-vamp our use of Jira and want to export a list of the 300+ custom fields for analysis. Is there a way to export from Jira Cloud? TIA!
There's not much you can do on Cloud.
Best you can do is scrape the list from the list of custom fields, but that won't tell you a lot about usage.
The other option is a long slog:
This will tell you a bit about the usage of that custom field.
I usually then open each of those in separate tabs, going back and forth through
Lomg and boring, but mostly your only option (without apps)
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- - Thanks for the response. With 300+ custom fields, this is just not feasible! Am going to sort list by Last Used and trash ones not used ...

I'm looking at the same issue via a Forge App.
I can give to link to a beta. Not for production yet.
It will run through the fields and show the number of issues that have values to indicate scope.

I am working on an app that will provide more details of field usage. However I am having issue with creating a link to share the app that I won't be able to resolve today. I may post another time.
The app in dev show the number issues using each field. To me, the unused fields are the low hanging fruit in field cleanup.
Even via the API's the field data available in cloud is quite limited.
