Mapping Active Directory group to Jira group using ADFS claim

Hello all,

I was wondering if any of you have been able to map an AD group to a Jira group so that members of this AD group are automatically added to the Jira group it is mapped to.

Someone in this community said that this should be possible but I haven't been successfull in implementing this.

I would greatly appreciate a detailed instruction of how to configure this.

Hi Mitchel,

Yes this is possible using the SSO Add-On available on the Atlassian Marketplace. For e.g.- miniOrange JIRA SAML SSO Add-On. It will allow you to enable SSO from ADFS. Along with the SSO, It will also sync group from ADFS to JIRA. 

This plugin is available on the Atlassian Marketplace and you can generate the free trial directly from the Marketplace.
