Method not allowed updating Sprint

Thomas Caraccia April 3, 2018

Good Morning all,

I have an issue with my JIRA. I recently upgraded it, from 6.4 to 7.8.1. It is running on windows 2012r2 and IIS. When a user tries to move data across a sprint, or create a new sprint on the board, they are getting an error that states method not allowed. I contacted Atlassian support, but the help they are willing to provide is extremely limited. I am not sure how to fix this, my knowldege of IIS is rather limited. If anyone has any ideas that I can try to get this resolved I am willing to try! Please help!

Yes, I have been busy and thank you for following up. I took a risk and uninstalled the WebDAV role from my server. Once it came back up it began working without a hitch! Just in case anyone has any issues.

That's great news! I think I saw that on another post while searching for an answer for you. Glad it worked.

Please feel free to let the engineer know in your ticket as well so he can close the case.

Take care, and kind regards,

Shannon

Hi Thomas,

There was another user below having a similar error using IIS, have you had a look at this?

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with IIS besides the basics either but I would look into that as well as Integrating Jira with IIS to make sure everything is set up properly.

Regards,

Shannon
