Hello. I had created a project on JIRA. Initially it was created as a scrum project but it seems that scrum is not ideal for my team at the moment so I decided to move to a kanban project but I am not sure how can I migrate from a scrum project to a kanban project.
Do I need to create a new project or there is a way i can convert my current scrum project to a kanban project.
Also I have 300+ issues created in my current project. So in an event of creating a new project how can I migrate those issues to the new project.
Sorry if it seems like a stupid question but I am new at this. Looking forward to your answers. TIA
Technically not a migration but you can simply create a new Kanban board with your existing project as a source. Boards are another layer on top of your projects. When you create a new project by using Scrum template, it must have applied from schemes like Issue Type, Workflows, etc. You can always change them if required later but start by create a new Kanban board and you will find your existing issues in it.

@Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_ Thanks for the reply but I cannot find the option to create a new board in a existing project

@Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_ Thanks ... but when I try to create a new board for a existing project I don't see my "project" in the dropdown from where you select the project

Strange. If you have the permissions to view the project then you should be able to see them. Did you try typing the project name?

yes I have tried typing in the name for the project. I am the admin for the project ... I think I did not mention that this project is a "next-gen" project.
