Migrated content with issue ID's no longer turn the Issue ID's into a link automatically

I am testing migrating my Jira server content to Jira Cloud. In Jira server, if you type a ticket ID (ex. PROD-1234) into nearly any field, after saving, that ID is rendered as a hyperlink to the ticket. After migrating to cloud, that conversion to a hyperlink is lost.

I can make new issues and use the "link" button to reference a ticket ID. But my migrated content no longer works. 

Is there a way to make this work once content is migrated?
