Migrating JIRA Server 6.1.3 to JIRA Cloud

We are currently on JIRA 6.1.3 hosted in house and thinking of moving over to the Cloud option.  Has anyone done this before on such an old version?  We are out of maintenance license so want to understand what steps would need to be done to complete this.

Much older.  4.3 is the last one I did.

You need to get a new licence (evaluation ones will do), upgrade the 6.1.3 to 7.11, and then export from that to import into Cloud.
