Migrating JIRA data to the cloud from a Test instance

Hi Folks,

We have a temporary JIRA test instance set up, for the purpose of on-premise server upgrade version testing.  Now that we're planning to migrate to the Cloud, is it possible to migrate a portion of the data from the test instance to the Cloud, to use as a validation mechanism, before migrating our Production data?

The Jira Cloud Migration Assistant plugin enables you to select which specific projects you want to migrate from your on-premise instance to a Cloud instance.

It is actually recommended that you do a test migration to cloud from a replica of your on-premise instance, and that the Cloud instance to which you migrate be a different instance than you will migrate to during production migration.
