We are trying to migrate our data from Polarion to JIRA but are facing issues that we loose formatting of the orginal text (e.g bullet points, tables,...).  We do not want to manually redo the formatting in JIRA so wondering if someone has faced the same issue and found a solution for this ?

You can find information about Jira Text Formatting Notation here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/WikiRendererHelpAction.jspa?section=all

An option would be to create a mapping and replace your existing formatting to the Jira Text Formatting Notation before import.

Thanks for your response,  Wouter Bruinings,

We are looking for details about where on Polarion we could find this mapping.

Moreover, the rich-text contents in a Polarion field (ex., Description) could have the formatted text, bullets, tables and images in any order. Any help on migrating this whole content, with formatting and layout as-it-is or very close to original, to Jira will help.

We tried the Jira connector available within Polarion, but the formatting is not retained while migrating the data.
