Migration from 6.3 to 8.20 (Server to Server)

Can somebody provide me the path or guide to migrate my JIRA Software Server 6.3 to JIRA Software Server 8.20?

I would request you to thoroughly go through this admin jira server documentation and the related sections on the right side of that link.

For your requirement, there are few market place plugins that helps with migration. You may check and take a decision on using this project configurator for jira

Recomonded path will be 6.3 -> 6.4.x -> 7.0.x -> 7.13.x -> 8.20.x

You migh able to skip some steps like upgrading to 6.4.x. But don't skip 7.0.x upgrade step. I want to try this migration path but was not able to, as Atlassian ended sales of new server licenses even for trial purposes. 

And mine is already out of support due to the old version.
Any other way to test this path?

You can use datacenter trial licenses for testing of these upgrades.
