We are going to migrate jira 7.3.3 database from sql2008 to sql2017 so will there be any compalibility issue or consequences if to do the migration of database ?

Jira 7.3.3 is not compatible with SQL Server 2017, you can see on this page that it's only compatible with SQL Server 2012 or 2014.
At the moment, Jira does not support SQL Server 2017.

It is helpful but what if i use sql 2017 on compatibility mode of 2014 will this cause any issue ?
One more question :
How can i redirect previous jira link to new jira link as we now using two links and what it to be redirected to new one.
