Migration to Cloud - purpose of export.shared.filters dark feature

Eli Albert July 3, 2022

Hi Community,

During our migration to cloud, I'm using the following dark feature com.atlassian.jira.migration.export.shared.filters in order to migrate shared filters.

However, I saw after the migration that all filters shared with any logged in users did not migrate, and also the filters that shared only with a group and not project did not migrate.

Is this the normal behavior of the DF? I mean, if the above can't migrate with it, which "shared" filter it does supposed to migrate?

Anyway, I noticed that filters shared with more than one project was successfully migrated. could it be this the meaning of this DF, or these filters can migrate with native JCMA without any DF?

I would appreciate your assistance

Update: this DF is no longer supported since JCMA 1.6.9.

It was merged to com.atlassian.jira.migration.export.all.filters since JCMA 1.7.1
