I need to migrate a Jira and a Confluence server.

The problem is that I have a lot of projects and issues in Jira and many spaces and pages in Confluence.

The new servers are already set up with users and configuration, so I cannot perform a system import, and doing it by hand is not an option because of the volume.

How can I migrate each of them without deleting any settings or users?

I have the XML backups of both old servers.

Please help — it seems impossible!

Hi @duck cyber

Welcome to the community.

I would strongly recommend getting a solution partner to review and assist you with the migration of Jira and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud.

Thank you.

Hi @duck cyber ,

As Victor said, this is usually handled by working with solution partners who help with the migration. These days, most stuff is focused on migrating on-prem to cloud; even more so after the announcement of DC EOL in 2029.

If you'd like to migrate on-prem to on-prem, here are some materials you might find helpful: Migrating Jira applications to another server

Cheers,
Tobi
