Missing default card fields on Kanban board

I can no longer see all the default fields in the view settings of my company-managed Kanban board. Pretty sure they were there before. Any ideas what could have happened?

Here's what my cards look like now. I can't enable the little priority icon on the card, cover images, work type, work item key, assignee etc...

Check your card layout options. Go to Board Settings -> Layout -> Card layout - which fields have been added there?

These I've added and can enable if needed. 

Perhaps cards in Kanban board don't support the default fields like in a scrum board? It's these I'm after:
