Hello,
New to Atlassian and Jira. Using the on-premises Server variant, started with asset management with Insight, now switched to configuring Service Desk.
Having manually defined a couple of Issue types, I am missing Screens(in the Advanced section (System>Issues>Screens)) for, say, creating an issue for that specific Issue type. I have screens for the default defined Issue types such as Change, Incident, Problem etc.; but none for my custom defined Issue types.
Creating an Issue with the custom defined Issue type is not a problem, only editing it since I seem to be missing the screen from the advanced options. The idea was to link objects from Insight, which I managed to configure with Custom fields.
Can anyone provide assistance? What am I doing wrong?
Hi Mario,
You need to configure screens, screen schemes and issue type screen schemes for the custom issue types. Please refer to the following atlassian documentation which might help you.

Thankyou!

Hi Mario,
Your new issue types are probably using one of the screens of the default defined issue types. Have you created new screens for your new issue types? If so, you need to create a screen scheme for each issue type, assign the screen to the screen scheme and in your project's issue type screen scheme you then need to assign the issue types to their respective screen schemes.
Best regards,
Daniel
