Modifying Sprint field with multiple sprints value

Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to modify the locked sprint custom field with both a closed and current sprint value? Actually it has already have the current sprint value, we want to add the previous closed one too. The version of Jira Software we’re using is 7.10. (Server hosted)

By default, the Sprint field automatically add every sprint that it was moved from, keeping the current one at the end of the list:

I believe you can not add this value if the issue was not configured with the Sprint before unless you perform a database update, however, I believe it would not be a good practice since it could mess with your agile reports.

How do I limit the Sprint value to only the current active sprint?
