Hi, is there a way to move any subtask to blocked/waiting for input?
When I'm trying to do it it looks like it's not possible due to workflow configurations/permissions.
Hello @Rafal Walisko
Each issue type in a project has a workflow. The workflow may apply to only that issue type or may apply to multiple issue types in the project.
And issue can be changed only to Statuses that are available in the workflow for that issue type.
The ability to move an issue to a specific status can be constrained in a variety of ways by applying Conditions and Validators.
Are you an administrator for the project that contains the issue? Are you an administrator for the Jira Application?
What is the Type of the project that contains the issue? You can find that information on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.
When you click on the Status button for the subtask do you see an option for "blocked/waiting for input"?
Do you see an option to View the Workflow?
If so, please select that option and share with us a screen capture of the workflow diagram that is displayed.
Unfortunately, I am not an administrator.
I was only able to determine that in the column waiting for input can only be issues, with a status of Blocked. Unfortunately, according to the screen, Subtask cannot accept such a status.

If you want that changed you will have to work with the administrator of the project. If they don't have permission to make the change then they will have to work with an administrator of the Jira instance.
