Move version to component version

I have a project with multiple components. But users tend to create versions using the fix version box within JIRA issues. So, I have a mix of project versions and component versions. I'd like to get those unified. Is this possible?

Jira doesn't have "component versions", so I don't understand what you're doing here. Could you explain?

There's no way most of us could have guessed that. It sounds like your best best might be to stop using the add-on!
