Moving A ticket from an old project to a next-gen project isn't displayed in backlog

Kfir Marouani September 1, 2020

Hi,

I have a new next-gen Jira project which is of Scrum.

When I moved tickets from an old project to the new one - they exist but are not displayed in the backlog section.

Can anyone assist in this?

Thanks in advance.

Step #3 + Change the status (to anything) after the dragging to the backlog.

Hello @Kfir Marouani

Thank you for reaching out.

Please, check the following steps to troubleshoot why your issue is not displayed in your Next-gen backlog:

  1. Check if you cleared the Sprint field from the issue. A Sprint from another project might cause the issue to don't display in the backlog
  2. Check if the issue is not filled with the resolution (Green checkmark in the right side of the status) or in the Done status of your board. Done issues should not appear in your board

  3. Try to add the issue with the Sprint in your Next-gen board (Inactive) and clear it by Dragging and dropping it in the backlog section of your board
  4. Check if there are any filters applied to your next-gen board:

Let us know if you have any questions.

OK, so step #3 worked but you still have to do one more thing:

After dragging from the Sprint to the backlog section you MUST change the status (to anything) - otherwise if you refresh the page i it goes away again.
