Moving Tasks from one Epic to another leaves subtasks in swimlane "Issues without epics"

Deleted user July 24, 2019

Every time, no matter what method I use, moving Tasks from one Epic to another leaves subtasks in swimlane "Issues without epics". Although, subtasks are still substaks of the task in the new epic:

Jira - subtask not in the new epic.png

Subtasks do not have field "Epic link" and it is impossible to resolve that annoying problem. My search didn't result in any resolution concerning this problem although there are similar but with the help of add-on. Is there something that I am missing out?

HI @[deleted] ,

Unfortunately I can't reproduce that behaviour in my environment (Jira Server 6.13.3). There the Subtasks don't get the Epiclink set and are still correctly sorted under the Parent-Story (and not in the Issue without epics swimlane). I suspect that this is a bug and you should add an support ticket for this issue.

With kind regards,
