We have stories that have subtasks. We open up subtasks and push them through their workflow by clicking the buttons.
The story workflow aligns with the sub task workflow. e.g. stories have "in review" and "reviewing" and dev tasks have "in review" and "reviewing".
What we'd like is that you can't move a story into a state unless all dev tasks are in that state or further along the board.
How do we do this? I know we can move a parent into a status based on the child. But I can't find how I can prevent a parent moving unless the children are also in that state or in one further along the flow.
You can add Sub-Task Blocking Condition to a workflow transition so that the parent issue transition (e.g. Resolve) is blocked until its sub-tasks move to certain statuses (e.g. Resolved or Closed).
