Moving ticket from 1 Project to another But dont want the original to be shown

Hello Team,

I have come to know that when we Move tickets from 1 Project to another, the old one is still sitting there, as a reference/index item. I get that, and I feel that it needs to happen. My question is that, can that happen in the background instead in the database that is invisible from the end users ?

What I'd like to achieve is, after I have moved a ticket from 1 Project to another, I dont want the original ticket in the old Project still appearing on the old Project's board, because they are still there last time I checked. Unless i have clicked something wrong

Please anyone help confirming this behavior, and or perhaps suggesting a way to ensure the old 'moved' ticket, the reference/index, isnt shown no more on the old Jira project board

Hi @Rama Indrawan 

This sound like a bug. If you are moving issue from one project to another one ticket should disappear from old project. Please ask Atlassian support about that.

Second thing that came to my mind is checking your filters. Maybe there is an issue.
