Multi Select Custom Field Display None in Two Dimensional Gadget

Batuhan Kandiran September 30, 2022

Hi Everyone,

We are using jira server 8.20.12 version in our firm.

I have a problem with our custom plugin that stores multi select values called Assignee Group and Reporter Group. Plugin simply finds assignee user's group names and stores in custom field.

All issue fields are successfully recorded, However when i create a new two-dimensional gadget and select these custom multi select field (Assignee - Reporter Group). Results/records can not be seen on gadget filter.

It only displays None value, but this is interesting also because there is no None value for all these fields.

Could you please help me ?

May be i forgot some view or class to implement/inherit. Plugin uses jira standart multi-select-custom field view templates.

Best Regards.

The "none" represents all the issues where the field is empty - they have no values selected.

Hi Nic,

I have re-check field values there isnt any none/empty value.

This multi select custom field there is no option from interface after add custom field button selection. It works similar to calculated field. Because when assignee has changed, assignee users group value also changed.

These stored values can be searched from jql but when i use saved filter in gadget values blow and custom field displays only None value.

So if you run the search "<custom field> is empty", do you get any issues returned?
