Hello Guys,

Does anyone know if it is possible to create multilevel checkboxes in jira, something like below. I know its possible to create it using select list addon but I need specifically checkboxes.

Checkbox 1
 Checkbox 1:1
 Checkbox 1:2
 Checkbox 1:3
Checkbox 2
 Checkbox 2:1
  Checkbox 2:1:1
   Checkbox 2:1:1:1
   Checkbox 2:1:1:2
  Checkbox 2:1:2
  Checkbox 2:1:3
Checkbox 3
 Checkbox 3:1
 Checkbox 3:2
Checkbox 4

Ideally, only Checkbox 1-4 should be visible & upon respective selection further tree down the line should be visible. Is it possible ? Or if there is any way around, do let me know.

Thanks

This is not at all possible in jira at this moment but there is feature request for this, if you would like to see this feature in jira please vote for this https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-71623

This is not possible OOTB. I am unaware of any addon that would present data form like this but that does not mean one does not exist.

Does Jira allows to build your own field type/ lets say plugin something like above by your own. I have never tried it before so would like to do this time if there is nothing OOTB.
