My Release Burndown chart is not working

Muhammad Daniyal November 21, 2022

Hi all, I have 1 release created in which I have 25 features refined. I want to run my release burndown to see the overall release progress from start to end but all I am seeing is this error message. I don't have tickets/Issues relevant to this release in backlog so not sure what issues JIRA is asking me to point to run this report. Kindly help, this is urgent!

This chart cannot be displayed

There are no estimated issues in this version.

Hello @Muhammad Daniyal

Welcome to the community.

Refer to this documentation for understanding the Release Burndown report.

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/view-and-understand-the-release-burndown-report/

The Release Burndown chart is accessed from the Reports section when you are viewing an Agile board. The report will include only issues for that release that are within the scope of the agile board. If you have no issues in that release that are within the scope of the board, then you will get this message. You either need to have issues in the release that are within the scope of the board and provide estimates for them, or you need to build another board that uses a filter that includes the issues within the release and estimate the issues in that board.
