My Reminders is always loading on my details view

I get regular complaints from our users that "moving around in Jira seems slow" I figured it was just our network that was the issue, but someone mentioned that we may be bogged down by the "My reminders" app that is not responding. 

On the details page, under My Reminders it reads 

Could not find a tenant with that id: jira:8f1da314-76b1-4e27-999c-715a669c2861

App is not responding. Wait or cancel?

There is a loading icon that spins constantly to the left of the sentence above.
