NGINX webserver configuration for Jira 8 server

Hi,

I have NGINX webserver running on https://10.80.116, and Jira server ruining on http://10.80.117:8080. Jira is up and running fine when I access through https://10.80.116 via webserver. But I am getting gadget error on dashboard, and getting Jira server link on the issue of dashboard ie.10.80.116. 

How to fix this. Is there problem with configuration.

Also if I want create DNS name, then which ip should I pass for the DNS name? Is it webserver IP or Jira server IP.

did you follow the steps documented at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/configure-jira-server-to-run-behind-a-nginx-reverse-proxy-426115340.html?

Looking at your server.xml you specify http as scheme and add https to the proxyname (think the protocol should not be specified there)#
