I have an automation that sends a curl request to another application I'm using, SendGrid, and it requires an API key with the request. Ideally, I don't need to just store it in every automation as viewable text.
This docs page below mentions that you can find the secrets manager for automations in the Jira settings, but after navigating to this page in my settings and pressing the meatball menu, as the docs describe, it seems to be the only option missing.
Did this feature get removed? Is there an alternative to it? Or do I need to create a webhook in settings and have that trigger with JQL as an alternative and store the secret there?
Thanks
Hi @Hammad Shami -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
That article is for the Jira Data Center version of automation rules.
There is no secrets manager for the Cloud version yet, and here is a suggestion to add it: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-1365
Kind regards,
Bill
Thanks for responding @Bill Sheboy,
Would be a great feature, hope it can be added.
