Need help on average age report in JIRA

I would like to see Average Age in each month. can anyone help on my questions how is in my query calculate Total Age:

• How we calculate Total Age for issues which aren't resolved in actual month?
• How we calculate Total Age for Rejected issues?
• How we calculate Total Age for monthly period for issues which they started and finished during this month?
• Do we calculate differnce in Total Age in seconds or days?
• How we calculate Total Age for issues which we resolve in different timezone?
• There is other restriction for Total Age by using standard Jira fields like as Resolution, Resolved, Status, Created, Updated?
