Hello @Megan Liou

You can choose from the following benefits:

  1. Accessibility: Jira Cloud can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, making it easier for remote teams to collaborate and work on projects.

  2. Scalability: As a cloud-based solution, Jira Cloud can scale up or down based on the needs of the organization, making it ideal for growing businesses.

  3. Automatic updates: Jira Cloud is constantly updated with the latest features and security patches, ensuring that businesses are always using the most up-to-date software.

  4. Reduced IT overhead: With Jira Cloud, there is no need for businesses to invest in hardware, software, or maintenance for Jira Server, which can result in significant cost savings.

  5. Increased collaboration: Jira Cloud offers a range of collaboration features, including real-time commenting and notifications, which can help teams work together more efficiently.

  6. Enhanced security: Jira Cloud provides advanced security features, such as two-factor authentication and encryption, that can help businesses protect their sensitive data.

Hope this may give you some hints.

Thanks

Asha

Hello @Megan Liou

Have you looked at the information available here?

https://www.atlassian.com/migration

https://www.atlassian.com/migration/assess/why-cloud

What is important to your company?

- pure monetary cost?

- costs of independently maintaining hardware and networking, or paying for those services in a cloud service provider?

- time spent by your company's personnel to manage OS, database, and application upgrades?

- access to vendor support for the product you use?

- product security?
