In using a poker planning (planning poker?) tool, it allows for use of JQL to look up various tickets. I was trying to figure out how to get only the top of the backlog to appear  - let's say a dozen issues from atop the backlog. Any help would be much appreciated !

I know how to isolate the project, issue type and status just cant figure out how to get the top dozen or so issues.

Hi Gkhan - JQL doesn't provide an explicit way to do that.  However, if you use the filter in the Filter Results gadget on a dashboard you can limit the results there.

I don't know where you found this filter gadget? What does that even mean @Michael Kuhl {Appfire} ?

Ignore me, I found it :)!
