Need to add automatic watcher in related story/tech story

As a user of Jira, in ABC project, we have to track information and updates in the Epic. As of now, a person has to manually add himself to every Story/Technical story which is either already created or as and when created.

This could be eased if we implement a feasibility for a user who is a watcher of the Epic or a new TAG in Epic, to be automatically added as a watcher for any story or technical story created, enabling him to receive all updates.

Unfortunately, there is no such functionality to achieve this matter on JIRA natively, however, you can use some plugins to accomplish that.

My recommendation would be to use Automation for JIRA and configure a simple rule with the Smart value {{issue.epic.watchers}} to copy the Watchers field from the Epic in the related Stories. Here's the exact rule:
