Can someone tell me where I can enable a system where the user has been assigned the clock timer that will automatically show that the user has started working on that particular ticket?

I need the option of clockwork configuration automatic (the user will not have the liberty to add hours manually)

Hi @Ghulam Sarwar

Welcome to the community!

I understand that you are using, or you would like to use our Clockwork Automated Time Tracking app, and you are looking for an automatic time tracking configuration.

You can enable a specific Time Tracking mode in Clockwork configuration settings:

  • To configure the Global setting, go to Jira settings > Apps > Clockwork configuration > Time Tracking.

  • To configure the Project setting, go to Project settings > Apps > Clockwork > Time Tracking.

Here you will be able to choose a specific mode that suits your needs. In the next tab, Active statuses you can configure which nonactive, and active statuses that trigger the automated time tracking.

In case of any questions, let me know.

Cheers!

Gracjan
