Hi @Ghulam Sarwar , Welcome to the Atlassian Community! As of now default assignee field(system field) does not support multi user selection and only one person be selected as assignee.

If the requirement is to have multi assignee for the same ticket, create a custom field of type multi user and give it a relevant name similar to assignee and add it to the required project and issue type.

I hope this will be helpful. Thanks

while creating a custom field type there is no option for "multi-user"

While creating the custom field click on advance section in the left hand side and type user in the search box, it will display all the user picker field and there you can select the user picker with multiple user as shown in the below screen shot.

Thanks
last question as i have already configured automated clockwork free with the assignee with respect to the status (in progress) of that particular ticket
i.e if the ticket is moved to in progress the clockwork will start automatically showing the working hh:mm of the particular assignes
so now my motive is to activate this same clockwork flow on multiple assignees

ex: assignee 1 and assignee 2  will working hours will be reflected on that particular ticket as soon as the ticket is moved in progress

Hi @Ghulam Sarwar

my name is Gracjan, and I'm a Customer Success Expert at HeroCoders, the team behind the Clockwork app.

Multiple users can track time on the same issue using manual timers by clicking the play and stop buttons. The automatic timers log works only for the ticket assignee.

There might be an option to do that with Clockwork API. We have an endpoint that starts a timer for a given issue. This could be triggered using Jira automation - webhook.

To be fully transparent, the Clockwork API is available only in the Pro version of the app.

If you have any questions, you can contact us at our help center.

Cheers!

Gracjan

HI @Ghulam Sarwar

Welcome to the community.

Clockwork is a marketplace app you have added to your instance.

This question should be directed to them.

But as I quickly scan the apps documentation, it responds to status and  assignee.

So it activate the time tracking based on status and no assignee. This relates to the ootb assignee, field, I see no options that this can be set to a custom field.

Reach out to the vendors support, for more infromation.
