Need to pull Feature data that is linked to a story into a Confluence Page

Soham Das July 19, 2022

We have a Release Summary Template in Confluence which pulls in various data under a release from Jira. In this page there is a section which pulls in Story details under that release.

Stories under Release.PNG

This is done via a Jira macro and Jira PTC macro

What we want to do is to append three coloumns to the above table which will give Feature attached to the story, Feature status, Feature summary.

Is there a way we can do that?

Hi @Soham Das ,

As I saw the Table Transformer macro that belongs to our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, I decided to step in: the Table Transformer macro allows you to Look Up tables using the unique column, for example, the issue key. If you have two Jira Issues outputs (one with tickets, other with features) you'll be able to merge them into one report. Please look here for more details.

And this Community thread (the second part) describes how to merge Jira Issues output and manually created Confluence table.

And here is a more advanced example how to merge Jira Issue tables by linked issues and keys - maybe it will also help your case.

If you are still stuck, you may raise a support request: take screenshots of your source tables, describe how they are supposed to be connected and we'll help you with the query.
