Need to reduce user count

We use active directory to allow users to login to Jira and submit issues, etc.  However, a number of users have left the company, but still show up as Jira users.  The AD user accounts for them have been disabled, and all Jira related AD groups removed.  How do I manage these users to reduce my user count as I only have a 500 user license and have reached the limit.

Hi,

please check the Jira (Non-AD) groups which define licence usage & access to Jira:

jira-core-users

or

jira-software-users

Remove the users who have left the company from these groups.
