The Jira access request normally goes to Jira admins/site admins. But in our case, we want the request to be sent to the project admin or any specific group of people as the site admin is busy or doesn't know which one to approve most of the time.
What is the best possible way to automatically send all the requests of the new user to the Project lead?
Thanks
Hi, @Asha Goyal !
As an alternative, you can use Business Process Manager add-on to build a Jira approval workflow. You can choose the team member to get an authorization from different departments
You can add a single user(s) or a group of users to approve issues
Hi @Asha Goyal ,
let’s assume the custom field, which is used for approval and contains approvers, is called Approvers.
What I would do is add the field Approvers to the request type, hide it and set the default value to the project admin.
