New to Jira, new to Scrum, etc. etc.
Let's say we're in charge of "American Sports" and that there is an NHL project, NBA project, MLB, etc. Within each of those projects, there are some Epics (Make the game faster, Acquire more Season Ticket Holders, etc.) and some tasks (Update season from 2019 to 2020). I assume that the typical set up is a separate project board for each project. But our staff overlap on a lot of projects and we want to be able to see their full workload in one place so we're thinking we'll just have one project board.
Could I use Labels for different projects? Is there another better option?
Thanks for your help.

Hey John,
I would use separate projects but then have a board that includes all of the projects (you do that by including all of the projects in the board filter (Project in (MLB, NHL, NFL)).
Then you can include quick filters on the board to show each project by itself.
And the beauty is that you could also create a separate board per project for times when you want a dedicated board.
Oh, and go ahead and add a task to update the 2020 World Champions as the Dodgers. :-)
I'll add the Dodgers task if I can put in the Nuggets over the Clippers and Lakers.
On the uber project board that has all the other projects, can I create a Scrum with elements from the various sub sport projects?

agree w/ John and would add that you can leverage Components (recruiting, ticket sales, equipment, marketing, etc) to allow you to slice things along different lines.
