New Custom field added not visible

Hi , I added a new field to my scrum bug screen view titled 'Time In Status'.  I've also created an screen scheme and configured it to have this field. The scheme has been associated with the scrum bug screen view.

But this field doesn't appear on any of the screens (not even for view), Can you please help?

Attached screen shot indicates that the field is added, but it doesn't appear on the form

Hi!

On edit, or create issue scrrens, did you put some data in the field? If you did not, then it why it does not show.

Dear @Vijay Bh,

the following must be ensured to view new custom fields.

Checklist

  • It has to be assigned to at least one screen that is associated with either "Create Issue", "View Issue" or "Edit Issue". (in Screen Scheme)
  • The Screen Scheme has to be associated to the right issue type (Issue Type Screen Scheme).
  • The Issue Type Screen Scheme has to be associated with your project.
  • In custom field configuration: the field hast to be available for the specific project and issue type (default is 'for all projects and issue types').
  • The field configuration requires the custom field to be visible (if you can see the 'hide' link, everything is fine)
  • The field configuration has to be associated with a field configuration scheme that is associated with your project (this is not necessary, if you use only a default field configuration and do not have any field configuration schemes)
  • At the end, don't forget to re-index.
  • EDIT: make sure the custom field has a value, to see it on View Issue screen.
