New Issue in Next-gen Jira is forcing Resolution!

I woke up this morning and a project that was working just fine the night previous is now forcing me to select a resolution when creating a new ticket, which then makes it disappear!

This is a next gen project and Resolution fields are not even supposed to be here.. so how this happened I have no clue.
